Archaeology High School Specials
A Projects Abroad Archaeology High School Special is a unique chance for volunteers to gain practical experience on an archaeological site and investigate past civilisations and cultures. You will get to work alongside local archaeological experts and take part in a variety of activities.
Whether you're helping to uncover and clear ruins, analysing findings, attending workshops or conducting presentations, you'll have the chance to learn more about the fascinating civilisations of long ago, while helping to uncover and preserve local cultural and historical heritage. During your time off, you'll get to take part in social events, exciting weekend trips and cultural activities.
These High School Special projects are designed specifically for volunteers aged 15 to 18 and run on fixed dates. Travel and meet new people, explore a different culture, and help to make a positive impact where it's needed the most!
