Projects Abroad volunteers on a Public Health outreach in Belize

Help give children and adults access to healthcare and medical treatment by joining our Public Health High School Special in Belize.

Working alongside qualified medical professionals, you will help plan and run community outreaches and public health campaigns. Public health campaigns will be a core part of your role, and you will help improve awareness and education on issues such as sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare field, and is ideal for anyone considering a career in healthcare and wants to build a resume for medical school.

Our staff will also arrange social activities in the evenings, along with weekend trips to explore this beautiful country.

Every year, thousands of High School Special volunteers actively make a difference around the world. During their time abroad, they contribute towards achieving long-term goals and make a long-lasting positive impact on the communities where they work. If you want to know more about their achievements, read our 2018 High School Specials Impact Report.
